A renowned company, specializes in the manufacturing of Films, which are delivered all across Europe for diverse applications like Carry Bags, Poly Bags, Woven sacks, etc. The company is incorporated with a hi-tech infrastructure with, advanced and requisite tools and equipment, more than 15 blown film extrusion machines and a professional workforce.

Situation:

Earlier, while making polyethylene films, pellets where preheated in mixer for 30-40 minutes before extruding and still the moisture retained. As a result of this moisture, various additional issues in films occurred like:

Constant bubble puncture

Poor strength

Gassing

Fish eyes

Porosity

Poor surface finish of films

Solution:

The manufacturer switched to RecycloAid and all the issues of moisture were solved. RecycloAid eliminated the preheating process and as a result of it, the films regained the optical properties. Not just this, in fact, the moisture problems like gassing, bubble puncture, poor strength, all were removed to a substantial extent.

Results:

Stable bubble

Removal stroke leakage

No gassing

Increased rate of production

Removal of fish eyes in films

Improved surface finish, gloss & strength

Manufacturer of recycled products. located at New Delhi, the company focuses only at scraps like Post Consumer, Irrigation Pipe, Mulch Film etc which are difficult to recycle.

Earlier, while processing recycled granules in the agglomerator/stroke mixer, the pellets used to loose their original properties and as a result of it, the granules which came out were neither round not solid. Moreover various moisture related problems were found during the extrusion process like:

Die build up

Poor strength

Gassing

Solution:

As the company owner came across ‘RecycloAid’ website, they tried the unique additive and got surprising benefits. By simply adding 1%-2% of RecycloAid, all the moisture which was building up during the process was removed. As a result of moisture removal RecycloAid improved the rate of production in plastic recycling.

Results:

Round and solid granules

No die build-up

Removal of porosity and other moisture issues

Lower machine load

Increase in productivity
